Visiting the Sick & Housebound

Our conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) is one of the oldest in the North East and makes regular visits to those who are sick or housebound, ensuring that they do not feel forgotten. Alongside this our Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion take communion to members of the congregation who are, due to illhealth, unable to make it to Mass.

Helping the Homeless

We work with our fellow Christians to provide food and comfort to the homeless and lonely through the 'nitebite' scheme - donations of food are always welcome.
